This girl I just met/interested in says we're dating, but we're not boy/girlfriend? Isn't that the same thing?
Well me and this girl have been talking for almost 3 weeks. We have went out with friends together, and have a couple of times, went out with just her and me.
I was talking to her last night and we both said we liked each other. When i asked her "Well what does this mean about us then?" She said "well what do you think?" And I said "Well lets take it slow, day by day, and play it by ear." and then I asked her "But when I talk about you to people, can I refer to you as my girlfriend?" And she said "Lets just say we're dating for a bit longer. Not that i don;t like that idea, but ya know SLOW lol"
OK isn't that the same thing?! lol I don't understand it! I know some people thing "girlfriend/boyfriend" is so high school, but if she doesnt want me to refer to her as her girlfriend, then what is she? Don't understand it. Does this mean we're casually dating exclusively or not exclusively and just going out places with each other. Thanks in advance.
nope. Dating means you are free to date other people. Being exclusive means that you are boyfriend/girlfriend.
