-- I usually don't call. I hate talking on the phone, so it's a pain.
Do you play hard to get? if so, how?
-- Nah, not at all. I hate games, and I'd rather let the guy know how I feel without all the B.S.
Do you purposely not give compliments?
-- No! People like to be complimented.
Do you purposely not show emotions?
-- Ha, quite the opposite. I can't keep anything inside!
How do you end relationships?
-- I was always the one dumped (much to my surprise -- I never knew anything was wrong), until I got to college. Then I would just stop talking to them.
Do you call to say sorry after fights?
-- Yes. I fully believe in fixing problems as they arise, not letting them fester.
Do you wait for the first kiss?
-- With my current boyfriend, I made myself wait because I wasn't really sure what he thought of me. But I kissed him on the cheek first, to let him know I would accept a kiss on the lips. It worked!
How long do you wait to have sex?
-- No set time.
My rules:
- Fight fair. Don't tell people to get out, don't throw things. Talk about your problems.
- NO CHEATING. That includes cyber sex, phone sex, placing personal ads, or getting girls' phone numbers while you're at a bar.
- Think before you speak, even if you're upset. Never tell your partner that you'd be better off if you never dated, that you don't want to talk to them anymore, that you want them to get out of your house, etc. Those things are not true. Saying you need some time alone is fine, but you should be the one to leave.
- Communicate, communicate, communicate! This is key. About 95% of problems I see on Y!A can be fixed by simply asking your partner what's wrong, that you have a problem with a particular behavior, that you like them, etc.
